Power Transmission: When the motor or engine is turned on, it starts rotating. The rubber belt transfers this rotational motion from the motor's pulley to the pump's pulley. As a result, the pump's pistons start moving, creating the necessary compression to generate pressurized air.

Tensioning: Proper tensioning of the rubber belt is essential for efficient power transmission and to prevent slipping. Many compressors have an adjustable tensioning mechanism that allows you to tighten or loosen the belt as needed.

Maintenance: Rubber belts in air compressors require periodic inspection and maintenance. Over time, belts can wear out, become cracked, or lose their tension. Regular checks and, if necessary, replacements are important to ensure the compressor operates effectively.
